I am first and foremost a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am a wife to my high school sweetheart, a Momma of three amazing girls who are all married to wonderful men and all eight of us love Jesus. I am also GiGi-becoming a grandparent brings with it many rewards along with an intensified focus of leaving a legacy that will last beyond your own generation.
From Texas to Georgia to North Carolina, I am a Southern girl through and through and have found my happy place settled in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I spent my career supporting executives in a variety of areas from the medical field to Christian ministry to marketing and networking events. Throughout that time I taught God’s Word-leading and speaking at conferences, book clubs and study groups, along with facilitating small groups and volunteering in my free time. After being an asset to others in the marketplace for over 30 years, I have spread my wings on my own soaring adventure into the realm of writing and publishing the words that God lays on my heart, sharing them with the world at large while continuing to facilitate, lead, speak and teach a wide variety of people.

Every Christ Follower is a light to the world (Matthew 5:14). Jesus has seven ‘I AM’ statements, one of which is ‘I am the light of the world.’ (John 8:12, John 9:5 NASB). This is the only ‘I AM’ statement of Jesus that we also share in. You and I are called to shine light into the darkness of this world from the overflowing light of Jesus in us.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” (Isaiah 60:1-3 NIV)
